A tiny desktop widget that lives on your screen, one click away. Select any word, paste it in, and get a clear explanation in plain language — in whatever language you choose.
Honest about small amounts: a payment of €1 is almost entirely eaten by the fixed fees Gumroad and the card processor charge per transaction — roughly €0.90 of it, leaving small change for me. From about €3 up, most of what you pay actually arrives. Below that, take it for free instead. That is a real option, not a polite gesture.
What it does
Two or three sentences, no jargon. Pick the output language: auto, English, Dutch, French, German, Spanish, Italian or Portuguese.
For quick questions, brainstorming and thinking things through. It mirrors your language, remembers your name, and follows your own persona and instructions.
Explained words are cached locally, so asking again costs nothing and works offline.
OpenAI, Anthropic (Claude) or Google Gemini — including Gemini’s free tier.
Adjustable text size, a dark theme, and you can lock the widget anywhere on your desktop.
Bring your own API key. It is stored in the Windows Credential Vault — never on disk, never sent to us. No account, no tracking, no data collection.
What does it cost to run?
€0
to me, per message. No markup, no subscription, no middleman.
~0.005¢
typical cost per message with the default model (GPT‑4o‑mini), paid straight to the provider.
Free tier
pick Google Gemini and normal use stays inside its free allowance — so it can cost you nothing at all.
Download it, drop it wherever you like, and it is there when you need a word.
